Since 2006 an ill and relentless wind has been blowing through the backwaters of Finland. Falling down on the righteous like an avalanche of power while pounding their earlobes like a storm of hails. This fierce movement has been led by five acolytes.

Mika Has the word.

Antti pounds the skins. .

Jukka: makes the 6 strings sing. Sometimes the strings sing so loud that they pop out of their place and run off to buy Mentos.

Hannu keeps it in the pocket. It stays there and works as damn well.

Mikko has the word and makes the strings sing too.

Being the ambassadors of Northern Power-Groove is hard work but long nights on the road and in the rehearsal cave have honed this five-piece into near perfection. Traditional Scandinavian melancholy is a strong theme in the songs but it is always sprinkled around as an extra ingredient with the main emphasis being on a solid in-your-FACE groove and a strong vocal performance.
