Jim Roppel began trading from his dorm room in 1985, giving him 39 years of experience. He spent the first 20 years of his career as a retail broker before starting his first of three hedge funds in 2004.

Jim attended his first O’Neil seminar in 1991. Jim paid to attend more than 60 O’Neil seminars, including 8 Can Slim Master Classes. In 2004, Jim became an institutional customer of William O’Neil, when he began 1 on 1 mentoring sessions with Bill, which continued regularly until his retirement.

He has been interviewed on Bloomberg, MarketWatch, Investors Business Daily “IBD Live” with Alissa Coram, and featured in the book How to Make Money In Stocks Success Stories by Amy Smith as well as How Legendary Traders Made Millions and Monster Stocks both by John Boik.
