The Anxiety Therapist
My name is Kristen Jacobsen, LCPC, and I'm a psychotherapist on Chicago's North Shore. I created this channel to provide useful information, tools, and tips for anxiety management and mental health. I have personally struggled with anxiety since I was a kid, so I consider myself both a clinical and personal expert in this area.
I've been in the mental health field for over 15 years and specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and complex trauma. I have my own private practice and am an adjunct Psychology professor at National Louis University. My goal is to end stigma and encourage people to become more proactive in taking care of their mental health.
