Peter Dušek is an award-winning Canadian artist renowned for his minimalist photography that captures the essence of serenity through simplicity. Inspired by Zen philosophy and the Japanese aesthetic of *shibumi*—meaning "quiet elegance"—his work distills landscapes into poetic abstractions, emphasizing balance and negative space. His design mantra, "as little as possible, as much as necessary," has earned him international acclaim, including the "Best Work by an Emerging Artist" award from the Ontario Society of Artists in 2015 and recognition in the American Society of Media Photographers' "Best of 2015."
