Julie Roset

Grand Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in 2022, soprano Julie Roset was awarded her ADOS from the Juilliard School.
Her performances as Zémire (Zémire et Azor) last season at Opéra Comique garnered unanimous acclaim, Le Figaro writing “the young soprano catches the light with her singing as natural as it is intelligent”.
Julie Roset collaborates with different ensembles like Cappella Mediterranea, Les Arts Florissants, Les Argonautes, Ensemble Pygmalion, Twelfth Night.
On disc she can be heard in her solo recordings Salve Regina with the Millenium orchestra conducted by Leonardo García-Alarcón and LUZZASCHI with her ensemble La Néréide.
Highlights of her 2023/24 season include her debut at Opéra de Paris in Charpentier’s Médée under William Christie, a tour of Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Ensemble Pygmalion, a program at Carnegie Hall with Twelfth Night, Die Schöpfung at Opéra de Lorraine with Marta Gardolińska, and Rameau's Samson at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
