The german-belarusian society (dbg) was founded as a non-profit, non-partisan organization in Berlin in 1999 to promote greater understanding and cooperation between actors in Belarus and Germany. One of the dbg’s biggest projects is the Minsk Forum, an international conference that began in 1997 (see https://www.dbg-online.org/en/minsk-forum/what-is-the-minsk-forum for more information).
