DigiTech
Born with philosophy of developing high-quality DSP-based audio products at an affordable price, DigiTech got its start at the beginning of the digital audio revolution in 1984. DigiTech has gone on to pioneer many innovations in the music industry. In its first couple of years on the market, it blazed many new trails creating entirely new product categories such as the first multi-effects (DSP-128), looper/delay pedals (PDS-1002 and PDS-8000), and vocal harmony processors (VHM-5). In 1988 DigiTech delivered the Whammy Pedal, the pedal that completely revolutionized pitch shifting for guitar. The Whammy has been named as one of the top 5 most important guitar effects of all time. It can be heard on countless albums and helped solidify the DigiTech brand as a leader in the industry.
