During its thirteen years of activity, Yamma Ensemble has become the world's leading group for oriental Jewish & Hebrew music.
The members of the ensemble bring to the forefront their parents and grandparents music traditions from Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Bukhara and old Sefarad. They play ancient instruments (duduk, ney, kopuz, oud, shofar) which were used thousands years ago.
The impressive performance for Psalm 104 has become the most viewed video of a Jewish chant (trad. played live) and made the group popular on social networks.
Yamma's sound is organic, acoustic, healthy, pure, natural sound. no computers, no chemicals or artificial materials🤗
The magical Hebrew language receives a place of honor in all its layers and periods - from biblical to contemporary.
