Ukeru Systems
Ukeru Systems is a company born from both necessity and vision. In 2004, Jim Gaynor, the CEO of Grafton Integrated Health Network, set a company-wide directive to “minimize the use of restraint and seclusion without compromising client or employee safety.” A private, nonprofit provider of services for those overcoming emotional, behavioral or developmental challenges, Grafton operates multiple day and live-in facilities throughout central Virginia. Grafton committed to not only reduce the use of restraint and seclusion, but also to replace these procedures with alternatives that promote a safe, comforting and secure environment for clients and employees.
