Influenced by the music of the rock band Pink Floyd, began to study the guitar on my own. From October 1977 to April 1979, together with my friends Igor Baburin & Andriy Kosa, took private lessons from the classical guitar teacher Leonid Georgievich Shumidub. Those were the best years of our childhood, when we were 15 and learning to play the guitar. We went mad about the guitar and the way our teacher played. We played musical scales and études for five hours every day.
