Liquid Network
Liquid is a Bitcoin layer-2 solution enabling faster, more confidential Bitcoin transactions and the issuance of digital assets.
Liquid is operated by a globally distributed federation of exchanges, wallet providers, and other Bitcoin-focused companies. Members collectively manage the network and guide its development.
Bitcoin on the Liquid Network are verifiably backed 1:1 by bitcoin on the Bitcoin mainchain. Once a user has transferred bitcoin to Liquid, they can take advantage of the network’s speed and confidentiality features when making transactions. Users can also issue new assets on the network such as stablecoins and security tokens.
