The basic motto of the organization is dissemination of endoscopic surgical skills and to develop technologies for the future. The Institute has an on-going well-structured training programme in Laparoscopic Surgery for surgeons, urologists & gynaecologists interested in basic laparoscopic surgery. The popularity of this course is attracting professionals from all over the country.
The institute has organised several Conferences and Workshops in Laparoscopic Surgery for training in advanced endoscopic surgical skills. Research activities from the Institute has resulted in Dr. M. Ramesh, the Director of the Institute present over 60 papers in Conferences both in India & abroad.
B.E.S.T institute has been accredited as a Center of Excellence in Hernia Surgery training by the Asia Pacific Hernia Society and the Hernia Society India.
