Hi, my name is Nelda and welcome to Afrika In Perspective! 🌸 This channel is my love letter to everybody who's ever felt left out. After living away from my home country of Tanzania🇹🇿 for five years, I've come to realise that not enough people pay attention to Africans and Africa -- and that was like a cold slap to the face (dramatic, I know). So, I thought to myself, "God blessed me with eyes that see, so I'll pay attention. God blessed me with a mouth and a voice, so I'll be a mouthpiece for the neglected voices in my continent".
I'm still very much experimenting with topics, video formats, editing, branding, etc... but I'm so honoured that you're reading this and perhaps considering joining this journey. Trust me, it's yours just as it is mine. My hope is this... that you may leave this channel feeling a little more seen, more knowledgeable, and ever so ready to make a difference in your own unique way.
