Tidmouth Yard Modelling
Hello and welcome to Tidmouth Yard Modelling, home of 'Railway Modelling for Beginners'.
I've been interested in railways since 2002 when I was three years old. The years of fun I had simply running trains around on the bedroom floor developed into a fascination with real-life railways. In 2015, I moved from running model railways into modelling them. My main areas of interest are the Talyllyn Railway at Tywyn in North Wales, and the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) which ran the east coast of Britain from 1923 until 1948. Over the last six years, I have constantly been developing my skills. In 2020, I sold my first pieces to great success. It is my hope to create even more through 2021. If you would like to know more about how I made a specific model, please do get in contact through Twitter. I post updates on my projects very regularly there.
