Rural Livelihood Mission

The National Rural Livelihoods Mission, now known as the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), is a central government program aimed at poverty reduction by promoting strong institutions of the poor, especially women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs). It provides access to financial services, supports diversified and sustainable livelihood options, and promotes social inclusion and development for rural households. Key initiatives include the Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) for women farmers and programs to enable SHG products to reach markets through various online platforms.
